Eco Warrioress Part Three

Just a super quick top-tip…we ran out of washing up liquid so I thought this would be a good opportunity to find out if I could make a home-made one – and guess what you can!!! πŸ˜€ I’m delighted!!!!!

Here’s how to make your very own super cheap, super quick, super eco-friendly washing-up liquid:

You Need

1 litre boiling water
2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
2 teaspoons laundry soap (grated)
1 teaspoon vinegar
1Β litreΒ bottle to store washing liquid in

How To Make

Simply mix all the ingredients together and your good to go!!!

Easy-peasy, just the way I like it!!! πŸ˜€

    • Hello! This recipe is for washing up liquid. I also use bicarb (about 1 tablespoon) instead of washing powder for about a 15kg load then as a fabric softener I use a a teaspoon of vinegar and a few drops of lavender essential oil πŸ™‚

  1. And the answer to the bubble question is simply “no” – there isn’t a way of adding bubbles to our home made liquid! 😦 It would seem that commercial washing-up liquids have harmful chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate added to them to create the bubble effect…bubble-less it is then! πŸ˜‰
