The holidays season is upon us! It is always a challenge to keep little ones (and big ones!) occupied and happy. Thankfully, these days parents have the wonderful world wide web to grab inspiration from…. I came across this lovely activity via another homeschooling mummy and I just have to share 🙂
Livvy having fun gluing all the bits together!
My top tips if doing this with a little one (i.e a four year old!!). Cut out all the houses, people, trees etc. before you intend to make the village…this enables you to just get on with the fun of sticking it all together – no hanging about! It does require time and patience but it is a lovely way to spend an afternoon 🙂 The file at the bottom is a large file to download (but it is zipped) Livvy and I once we downloaded it choose our favorite ones to print and we simply printed them onto normal paper…as it says on the website if you do print it onto photo quality paper then it will last much longer, but I do think the normal stuff works just as well!
Click on the link below and it will take you to a web page whereby you can download and print the lovely Christmas Village scene 🙂
